Thoughts:

Thank you for playing this game, as with all Jams there are more ideas than time to implement and being new to finishing  projects there is still much to learn. while  each new Jam gives me guidance to  explore and learn new ideas, on the road to a complete game. let me know if I should continue with this one.

The premise of the game was to be a co-op puzzle adventure in which the world inhabitants are sad and alone.  You remind them they are not alone but showing them their favorite color.  By collecting paint colors you can progress the level by unlocking color locked door.  Npcs would offer help to interact with object of their favorite color. Hope was to have the player pick the color of their character, and only the gun/pencil change color. (yes I did work on a melee paint brush, but felt to hard to play)

Technical challenge  was figuring out how to get the splatter to cover the blocks with overlap while keep the game browser playable on common hardware. draw One Million splatter sprites to screen. weirdly that was the easy part, learning how to blend pre-defined colors so you could mix the colors together was a bit harder. I may have spent a little too much time on that, which I didn't use for the Jam. Cut the size of the world and removed the doors, (they would be picky if the color wasn't right, the whole game was built around the idea that you could pick the color in the game before playing)  but thats enough for now.  I'll ramble on another time.

Really nice game, even if the maze was pretty big, i still had a good time painting the surrounding objects (juicy idea to be able to edit world color too).  However, it lacks a bit of audio. Great work !

According to the page, there was supposed to be sound, but a sad bug prevented it from playing… :(
